The Benefits of a 20x20 Display

Selecting the right booth size is an integral part of your trade show success. If you go too small, people won't be able to move around comfortably in your space and their experience with your brand will be frustrating. If your booth is too big for your needs and looks empty, people can get the impression that you don't have something interesting to share.

When your team starts asking the question: "Should we stick with our current booth or make the jump to the 20x20 space?", we'd love to talk to you about what you need to know to make the right choice for your business.

To help your company discuss what the impact of moving to a 20x20 space will be, we've put together this list of the benefits that you get from a 20x20 display.

Better Visibility and Presence
A 20x20 trade show booth allows the exhibitor to have their exhibit go up to 12-20 feet in height, depending on each trade show. Compare that to an inline, which has a maximum height restriction at eight feet, it’s clear that the 20x20 has a significant height advantage. That height advantage of a 20x20 display also allows you to put up a hanging sign, whereas the inline space is not allowed to have a hanging sign incorporated into their exhibit. Hanging signs are great for attracting the attendees’ attention on a crowded trade show floor and you can also incorporate the hanging sign into your 20x20 display design.

More Space
Another benefit of a 20x20 display is simply having more exhibit space than a 10x10 or a 10x20 inline booth. By having more space, you have the ability to incorporate an area for theater demos and meetings. You also have the option of having private or semi-private meetings. More people can come into the booth compared to an inline, and a 20x20 allows for multiple entry points for attendees to maximize traffic flow. Many exhibitors also select a 20x20 space because it is the minimum space allowable to utilize a double deck exhibit. Some benefits of a double deck booth include maximizing your exhibit space by going vertical, ability to have private meetings or VIP sections on the second floor, and helps your booth stand tall amongst the crowd.

Bigger Canvas
A 20x20 exhibit allows for a bigger canvas, which means more room for graphics and design elements. Compared to an inline, larger graphics are also feasible. Fabrics covering the booth can make the structure look inviting and aesthetically pleasing. Larger images, unique displays for products, and demo stations are much easier with a 20x20 booth than with smaller inline display. Keep in mind that graphics should work in tandem with the size of the booth - the size of the graphics should be in proportionate to the size of your booth. The goal of your trade show display is to deliver have a clear and simple message, and having larger graphics can be an effective way to grab your audience’s attention.

If any of these benefits align with your trade show needs, it might be time for your company to upgrade to a 20x20 booth space! This can be a big jump - and we're always here to discuss your trade show goals with you. Growing your business requires significant investment and we want to help you maximize the impact your trade show booth will have on your growth goals.
