A business software company recently came to us with a request. It typically purchased a custom 10 x 20 inline booth each year that it used at all of its trade show events. However, the company was looking for a change. It was tired of paying the astronomical fees associated with shipping such a heavy booth. Because the custom booth was so heavy, it always had to use freight shipping to transport the booth, and drayage fees were mandatory at every show. Setting up and breaking down the custom booth took quite a bit of time and labor, and the price of union labor ate into the company’s trade show budget. This time, the company wanted to purchase a light and portable modular booth that had a lot of the same features as its heavier custom booths.[/vc_column_text][minti_image img=”13510″][minti_headline type=”h2″]The Design of the Radiant PO8213A 10 x 20 display[/minti_headline][vc_column_text]The company wanted a stand-out booth that mimicked a lot of the features of its custom booths. Some of the features included a semi-private lounge area where its company representatives could sit and talk with customers. Two monitors were a must for the software company to showcase its technology. Extra storage for tech equipment and giveaways needed to be included in the booth design. The company also needed counter space for giveaways and to meet and greet clients coming into the booth.[/vc_column_text][minti_image img=”13512″][minti_headline type=”h3″]Introducing the Radiant PO8213A 10 x 20 inline booth[/minti_headline][vc_column_text]Our team of designers came up with an excellent plan–the Radiant PO8213A 10×20 display. This booth featured backlit graphics that made the entire display stand out. Recessed lighting and clamp lights increased the booth’s visibility and made it more appealing to customers.
The design of this booth matched our client’s needs perfectly. In order to create a semi-private space within the booth, the design team used a fabric canopy and partial wall to make the lounge area feel more closed off. A storage closet was placed near the center of the booth to create some separation between the lounge area and the reception counter. A strategically placed plant and a carefully designed furniture layout further defined the lounge space and gave it a semi-private feel.
To mimic the company’s design aesthetic, modern furniture pieces and a rug were artfully arranged in the lounge space. Textured graphics were used to create a stone wall backsplash. Recessed lighting was added to the canopy to complete the look and give the entire booth a classy but casual feel.
The designers were able to include all of the client’s usual display features while retaining the booth’s lightness and portability. Two monitors were placed in the booth to add to the booth’s visual appeal and allow company representatives to demonstrate its innovative software. A storage closet was placed between the monitors to create some separation and give the company some much-needed storage space for giveaways and tech equipment. To complete the space, a convenient case-to-counter option was chosen for the company’s reception counter.
The entire design was lightweight and easily transportable. Company representatives were able to quickly assemble the entire booth themselves without hiring union labor. The toolless assembly made it easy to set up and break down. Converting one of the portable cases to a counter made the entire booth much easier to transport. Since the cases were so light, the company could ship the entire booth without having to go through freight shipping. Once shipped, company representatives simply wheeled the cases to their booth site–making drayage fees completely unnecessary.[/vc_column_text][minti_image img=”13513″][minti_headline type=”h4″]3 Designs in 1 for a 10×20 trade show display[/minti_headline][vc_column_text]This was the client’s first modular booth, and the company representatives were really excited. The one 10’ x 20’ trade show booth converted into three different booth options. The client had the option of using the entire 10’ x 20’ booth design, or it could use one of the smaller 10’ x 10’ options at some of the events. One of the 10’ x 10’ designs featured the amazing backlit display, one monitor, a storage closet, and a reception counter. The other 10’ x 10’ display featured a stylish seating area with a monitor, recessed lighting, and a fabric canopy that added some privacy. Since each 10’ x 10’ section of the booth packaged separately into its own case, it was easy to ship the smaller 10’ x 10’ booths to separate trade shows or ship them together to make one 10’ x 20’ display. The company loved the convenience![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row] if ($shareIcons == true) { ?>
