EXPOMARKETING LAUNCHES WOMEN IN BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

TUSTIN, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ExpoMarketing, a trade show booth rental and design firm, has launched two new “Women in Business” scholarship programs – one for existing businesswomen studying to achieve an MBA; and another for undergraduate women majoring in business.

ExpoMarketing, itself a women-owned business, launched the scholarship program as part of the company’s ongoing effort to lessen the cost of education for women who demonstrate high academic achievement, exceptional leadership qualities and involvement with community service.

“We’re excited to be able to support professional women looking to further their education as well as young women studying business as undergraduates,” said Lisa Bertaina, ExpoMarketing’s President and co-founder. “At ExpoMarketing we work with companies from many different industries – helping them to enhance their presence at special events and trade shows. We’ve seen more and more women in leadership roles across the spectrum of businesses, but there is definitely still room for growth. We hope scholarships like those we are launching will help contribute in a small way to that movement and inspire other companies to do the same.”

Thescholarships are available for women who are currently MBA or undergraduate students pursuing a career in business. Incoming, full-time and part-time students are eligible, but candidates need to be currently enrolled to apply. Any previously awarded scholarships or monetary prizes have no bearing on this scholarship award.

Bertaina said the scholarships will award $2000 this year ($1000 to an undergraduate student and $1000 to an MBA student). Submissions received by December 1st will be eligible for consideration. Scholarship winners will be contacted directly at the time of the announcement.
